Forest and I went to the Cheesequake Pumpkin Patch again this year. Last year we went with 2 couples that had small kids and had so much fun in the corn maze and picking pumpkins. This year it was just the two of us. We went to the 8:30 am service at church and stopped by the pumpkin patch before heading home.
The weather was perfect – chilly but not cold and so sunny. And we got there so early in the morning that we beat all of the crowds!
I was so bummed that the first several pictures I took with the ‘wrong’ camera settings so they’re a little washed out. But they still turned out good (I like them anyway and that’s what matters) and after I adjusted my settings we were good to go!
We paid $3 each for a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. Forest picked his pumpkin in 2 minutes flat and only contemplated switching maybe two times! That’s pretty impressive for the guy who usually picks a pumpkin and then trades it at least 5-7 times before he settles on one. And then brought the hay ride back to the front where we picked up some beautiful mums, several of the cutest little pee-wee pumpkins, and a gallon of apple cider.
Until next time — Cindy
