A quick little round up of Peyton’s current favorite books and toys.
Peyton’s first Father’s Day gift to Forest was Jimmy Fallon’s Your Baby’s First Word Will be DADA. Admittedly, we didn’t read it very often until recently. Peyton loves learning animal noises and this book is full of them!
Peek-a-boo Monsters by Charles Reasoner. She has Peek-a-boo Fairies by the same author but she loves the monster’s one solely because of the ROAR at the end. Her and Forest have perfected their roars.
Sesame Street’s A Sweet Smelling Garden (pictured) as well as Fruit Salad Day and Big Bird’s Sweet Smoothies. A couple months ago she really got the hang of sniffing each page. It’s so cute and the stories are really sweet.
In the Forest by Steph Hinton. This is a new one we just bought with gift card Peyton got for her birthday. We get to practice animal sounds and her favorite part is pulling the tab on each page to reveal a new animal.
Peyton’s favorite toys are constantly changing but a few of her constant favorites are pictured above.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse – My First Piano.
Fisher Price Baby’s First Blocks shape sorter. We’re learning colors and shapes!
Fisher Price Rock-a-stack. We’re learning colors!
ABC magnets. Letter and picture pairs.
A few other favorites are her Cabbage Patch baby doll, her stuffed Simba, her big activity board, her Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Chair, her LeapFrog Number Lovin’ Oven, and the TV remotes (we do our best to keep them away from her but she is quick and she has long arms!).
Until next time — Cindy
