I’m currently backing up all of the videos on my iPhone to the computer so I can free up some space. Instagram stories definitely makes this job A LOT more difficult because I am constantly recording little snippets of our everyday.
We had a play date at a friend’s house Wednesday morning. It’s the sweetest thing having friends with kids the same age as Peyton and knowing they’ll get to grow up together!
Last week was a long week and I totally skipped out on posting a thoughts on thursday but here were are with another volume of Forest Says for your Monday morning! I hope your weekend was marvelous. I know hurricane Matthew was wreaking havoc on part of the country to so we’ve been praying that things are ok, as much as they can be.
During a Jillian Michaels’ workout
JM: you want to wear those strapless dresses, don’t you?!
F: Man…. I have a knot in my shoulder.
F: Because I’m just so strong. That’s what happens when you’re as strong as me. Muscles just do whatever they want.
Oh my goodness it’s been awhile since I’ve done a Forest Says! And I’m sad to say that I have been terrible about writing down his witty comebacks and one-liners recently. I do still have a few though so here goes another volume of Forest Says!!
Watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with Peyton one Saturday morning
Minnie Mouse on tv: I wish that we can all be friends forever and ever!
F: That’s a stupid wish, Minnie. It’ll never work.
A few weeks ago I needed to get some energy out of Peyton so she would be tired when bedtime came around. Forest had already left for Home Groups and, as I was changing into comfy clothes for the night, I put Peyton down on our bed. She enjoyed rolling all over our bed, shaking a bottle of teething tablets (which is always more fun than actual toys!) giggling and peering over the edge (I was never more than 2 steps away so she was never in danger although every time I would say “Peeeeeeyton” when she got too close to the edge she would look up at me, grin and twist around and I would chuckle – she’s going to be a handful once she’s walking!) and it was just the sweetest time.
I take pictures – it’s what I do! – but I also want to be in pictures (I don’t want to look back on our family albums one day and not see my face!!) so I find myself asking Forest if he can snap a few when we’re all together (I adjust the settings so they should be good and let him click away). There have been several occasions, when it’s just me and Peyton, that I set up the timer on the camera, point it in the general direction of where we’ll be and race into the shot. I usually get a good laugh out of Peyton when I do that!
Until next time — Cindy
