Peyton was dedicated on Valentine’s Day this year – what a special memory! We have publicly promised to take the responsibility of raising Peyton in the ways of the Lord and building her up on the foundation of Christ. The Lord has blessed us with such a beautiful baby girl and we don’t take it lightly that we are to be living examples of Christ’s love to her (and any additional little ones we are given!). Here are a few pictures from our morning at church:

Thoughts on Thursday – 2.11.2016
I printed these free Valentine’s note cards earlier this week and have been leaving them around the house for Forest. Sweet, simple way to tell a loved one you’re thinking about them!
I watched this clip from the Ellen DeGeneres show about Fuller House that’s coming out on Netflix soon! Fans of Full House should be excited – I know I am!
Love-ly Day
Forest and I had a very low-key Valentine’s Day this year. A couple years ago we made reservations for dinner at a fancy restaurant. We had a great night but it just wasn’t us. So this year I suggested we order Chili’s to-go and enjoy our Valentine’s Day evening at home.
We started the day with DONUTS! I’ve been wanting donuts for so long and Valentine’s Day seemed like the perfect opportunity to finally indulge.
My mouth is seriously watering just looking at that picture. Mmm….
We watched Boy Meets World all morning. Enjoyed leftover pizza for lunch. We ran out to Kohl’s (I had a 30% off coupon burning a hole in my pocket) in the afternoon and to Pep Boys for floor mats in the Traverse. We got home and did some more lounging around. When we finally started thinking about food, we ordered Chili’s online and I went to pick it up while Forest set up the office/den for dinner. The fireplace was going, the Pandora station was spot-on, and we had sparkling cider to enjoy with our meal.
After dinner we played a couple games (which I’m happy to gloat that I won every game except 1. woot!) and I laughed until I cried. A few times. It was the most perfect day spent with my love. Why can’t every Saturday be like that, right?!
I hope everyone had a special day lovin’ on their family and friends, too!
Until next time — Cindy
